Francis W. Haley

Francis W. “Bud” Haley passed away peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2021 at age 92. Raised and educated in Boston, Bud was an avid Red Sox fan and was a season ticket holder for many years. He also loved the Patriots. Bud had a love for Cape Cod, and enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a member of the Weymouth Knights of Columbus. Bud had a long standing career in the lighting industry. Family was most important to Bud.

Dear son of Francis G. and Florence (Rogers) Haley; Beloved husband of the late Joan L. (McKay) Haley; loving father of Francis W. “Bill” Haley and his wife Trisha of Whitman, Joan Haley Wishart and her husband Woody of Plymouth, Lynn Ann Haley of Brockton, Michael C. McDermott of IL, George E. Mor of Brockton; brother of Joseph Haley of and his husband Eric of Boston; survived by 7 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren; dear brother to the late Harry, Rogers, Lorraine, Patricia, June, Marilyn, and Carolyn; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, November 18th 4:00-7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. On Friday we will be gathering at the Funeral Home at 9:00AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Albert the Great Parish 1140 Washington St, Weymouth.
