Joseph G. McSherry

Joseph G. McSherry of Hopedale, MA, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at the age of 87. Born in Boston, Joseph was a proud Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Cold War in the mid-late 1950’s. He was a skilled mechanic and truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #170.

Beloved husband of Dolores A. McSherry; dear father of James M. McSherry and his wife Linda of Sharon, Nancy A. Melvin and her husband Matthew of Norwell, Mary T. Beal and her husband Tom of Townsend, preceded in death by Daniel J. McSherry; loving grandfather of Katie, Jeffrey, Matthew, Alyssa, Brian and Anna; Brother-in-law of Thomas Kiely of Ireland.

Family and friends are invited to Mass on Tuesday, February 8th at 10:00 at St. John the Baptist Parish in Quincy.
