Elizabeth (Guest) Burns of Braintree passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the age of 82. Raised and educated in Quincy, Elizabeth retired as a clerk from a mutual funds company.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Burns; loving mother of the late Matthew Burns, Theresa Burns of Braintree, Brian O’Sullivan and his wife Sally of KY; dear grandmother of Kelly Ann O’Sullivan of KY, Toni Marie Clover of Belgium, Sherry Owen and her husband Michael of VA, Jakki Levasseur of Quincy, Michael Williams of Braintree; great grandmother of Michael and Fiona Owen, Madeline Dailey and Shea Donnelly; Elizabeth is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, April 20th, from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. At 11:00AM there will be a service in the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
