Marion J. (Lindsay) Karacozian, age 89, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the St. Joseph Manor in Brockton. Marion was the beloved wife of the late Charles Karacozian; loving daughter of the late James Lindsay and the late Mary (Connolly) Lindsay; dear mother of Jean Burns and her husband Michael of Squantum, John Karacozian and his partner Sherry Suttie of Randolph; devoted grandmother of Michael Burns and his wife Melissa of Squantum, Shauna Potter and her husband Mark of Squantum; great grandmother of Charlee and Julia Potter and Hazel Burns; Marion is survived by her sister Mary Heirty of Florida, and is predeceased by her other siblings Catherine Heffernan, and James, Stephen, Charles, and Richard Lindsay. Marion is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her close friend Dawn Demko. Marion was the Secretary to the Director of Nursing at Long Island Hospital. Marion was proud of her Irish heritage. She loved chatting over tea, playing Scrabble with her family, vacationing on Nantucket Island with her sisters, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a kind, sweet, and sensitive soul who was passionate about helping anyone in need. We will all miss her terribly. Until we meet again our hearts will not be complete. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday, December 12th, 4:00PM-7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. On Tuesday there will be a gathering at the Funeral Home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John’s the Baptist Church in Quincy, at 10:00AM.
