Angelina (DiPanfilo) DelCore

Angelina (DiPanfilo) DelCore of Quincy passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at age 85. Born in Somerville where she was raised and educated, she lived in Quincy since 1969. Before retiring, Angelina worked as a lab and research tech at Gillette for more than 30 years. The beloved wife of the late Harold J. DelCore, she was the loving mother of Donna O’Neill and her husband Kevin of Quincy, Gail DelCore Santacroce and her husband Paul of Quincy and the late Paula Gail DelCore; dear grandmother of Terry O’Neill-Kearton of W. Bridgewater, Carol McGrath of Abington and Kelly O’Neill of Berkley; great-grandmother of Dorothea, Sarah, Jack and Kevin; beloved sister of Po DiPanfilo of Weymouth and the late Emilio DiPanfilo, Jennie DiIacovo, Viola Cacchione and Eleanor Franco; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visiting hour on Wednesday, April 18 at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center starting at 8:00am, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy Point. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Quincy.
