Barbara A. Ford

Barbara A. Ford of North Easton passed away at the Colony House Nursing Home in Abington on November 20, 2009 at age 88. Daughter of the late Joseph L annd Margaret E. Ford, she lived in Wollaston in her early years. Born and raised in Quincy, she graduated from Quincy High School in 1938. For many years Barbara was secretary to Dr. Edwin Land, scientist and founder of the Polaroid Corp. She served in the US Navy and was a member of the Reserve Unit at the So. Weymouth Naval Air Station.

She was the sister of Ralph Ford of Taunton, Robert Ford of Weymouth and the late Joseph and Marjorie Ford and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
