Stavro Haxhi

Stavro Haxhi of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at age 66. A retired truck mechanic, he was born in Tirana, Albania, where he lived most of his life, and moved to Quincy in 2000. The beloved husband for 45 years of Katerina Popi, Stavro was the loving father of Xhaklina Desmond and her husband Joseph of Quincy and Albert Popi and his wife Violet of Weymouth, dear grandfather of Joseph and Natalya Desmond and beloved brother of Elisabeta Prifti and Donika Gjoka, both of Albania.

Visiting hours will be held of Friday, February 3 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Saturday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:00AM. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
