June M. (Parker) Hillier

June M. (Parker) Hillier “Miss June” of Wollaston passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at age 79. A homemaker, she was a lifelong Quincy resident, was active at Glad Tidings Church where she was its oldest member and enjoyed bowling in her younger years.

The beloved wife of Robert N. “Hilly” Hillier, June was the loving mother of Wayne A. Hillier of Rockland, Linda Austin, David Hillier and James Hillier, all of Quincy, Brenda Nigro of Weymouth and Gary Hillier of Comanche, OK; sister of the late Lois Harvey; dear grandmother of eleven including the late Lee Michael Hillier; and is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 14 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM at Glad Tidings Church 158 Washington St. Quincy, MA 02169. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery.
