Angela B. (Maciejko) Mickiewicz

Angela B. (Maciejko) Mickiewicz of Braintree passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at age 79. A homemaker, she was originally from Dorchester and lived in Braintree for the past 22 years. An avid Red Sox fan, Angela was a devoted mother who enjoyed cooking and nurturing her family.

The beloved wife of Alfred J. Mickiewicz for 59 years, Angela was the loving mother of Robert A. Mickiewicz of Dorchester, Barbara J. Langlais and her husband Charles of Arlington, Judith Cataldo and her husband Stephen of Burlington and Brenda M. Mickiewicz of Quincy; dear grandmother of Jeffrey, Joseph, Andrea and Kelsey; beloved sister of Mary Narus of PA, Genevieve Hughes of VA, Victoria Kostowski of Needham, Caroline Waga of PA and the late Anne Jurusz, John, Joseph and Veronica Maciejko and Nora Szymaniak; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 8 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St Francis of Assisi Church 850 Washington St. Braintree. Burial is at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
