Victor Ray Horton

Victor Ray Horton, of Quincy passed away at Weymouth Health Care in Weymouth on Friday, October 1, 2010 at age 57. A longtime Quincy resident, he was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was the Maitre de at the Millenium Bostonian Hotel for many years. The devoted father of Victor Ray Horton, Jr. of South Easton, He was the beloved companion of Susan White of Quincy, Grandfather of Kristen, Ryan, Taylor and Victor. Victor was the brother of Ralph Horton and his wife Marie of Quincy and the late James O. Horton.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 4 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Family and friends are invited.

There will be a Committal Service with Military Honors on Tuesday, October 5 at 11:00am at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Family and friends are invited and may meet at the cemetery entrance at 10:45am
