Mildred E. (Monti) Ivester

Mildred E. (Monti) Ivester of Quincy passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at age 79. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she also lived in Canton and Stoughton and worked as a housekeeper for many years.

The beloved daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Sweezey) Monti, Millie was the loving mother of Michael Ivester of Danbury, CT, Donald Ivester of Woburn, Stephen Ivester of New Bedford and Laurie White of Salem, NH; dear sister of Marion Baker of MS, Frank Monti II of Woonsocket, RI, Pauline Pace of Brockton, John Monti of Randolph and the late Robie Monti and Florence Weeks; and is also survived by seven grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held a on Saturday, December 29 from 9:00 to 10:30AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Family and friends are invited. Cremation will follow.
