Gertrude M. Keating

Gertrude M. Keating of Quincy passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011 at age 84. A lifelong Quincy resident, she graduated from Katherine Gibbs and worked as an executive secretary for the law firm Choate, Hall & Stewart before retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Merrymount Association where she formerly served as secretary.

Gertrude is survived by her nephews and their wives, Joseph and Irene Brophy of Quincy and Dennis and Karen Brophy of Duluth, GA; and by her cousins, Sr. Paschala Noonan of KY and David Noonan and his wife Claire of Hanover.

A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday, August 23 starting at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 227 Sea St. Quincy. Family and friends are invited. Burial is private.
