Joy L. Kenyon

Joy L. “Jo Jo” Kenyon of Roslindale passed away on Sunday February 20, 2011 at age 54. Born in Quincy, she was raised and educated in Quincy and Boston and had lived in the Allston- Brighton area before moving to Roslindale 11 years ago. Jo Jo worked as a fund raiser for Alumni Relations at Boston University School of Management. The beloved life partner of the late Joseph Tompkins, she was the devoted mother of Richard Joseph Tompkins of Roslindale, dear sister of Melody A. McKenzie and her husband Roy of Forestdale, beloved friend of Josephine Tompkins of Dorchester and loving aunt of Rachael McKenzie and Roy Clifford. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Ollie.

On Saturday, March 5 there will be a visiting hour starting at 1:00pm prior to a Memorial Service at 2:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center.
