Stanley J. Korecki

Stanley J. “Stan the Man” Korecki, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the age of 71. Born in Cambridge where he was raised and educated, he lived on the South Shore for most of his life. A Vietnam veteran, he worked as a printer for Peacock Press before retiring and volunteered for Miracles on Saturdays and Meals on Wheels. Stan was a friend of Bill W.

The beloved son of the late Stanley and Mary Korecki, he is survied by his nephews, Robert J. Casey and Edward G. Casey, both of Stoneham as well as several other nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial visitation at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center on Friday, July 31 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Family and friends are invited.
