John Lagos

John Lagos of Hull passed away in Quincy on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at age 71. Born in Everett, he was raised and educated in Boston and lived in Hull for the past 40 years. After serving in the Army, John worked as a laborer for the Union Local 133, before his retirement. The beloved husband of Virginia M. (Ritchie) Lagos, he was the loving father of George Lagos of Braintree and Mary Elizabeth Lagos of Hull, brother of Harry Lagos of CA, Christo Lagos of FL, and the late Angelina Baroulakis, Helen Politis and Peter Lagos and is also survived by several grandchildren.

A visiting hour will be held at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center on Thursday, October 22 from 10:00 to 11:00am, immediately followed by a Funeral Service. Family and friends are invited. Burial is in Mount Hope Cemetery, Boston.
