Paul F. Lucier of West Quincy passed away at home on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at age 92. Born in Quincy, where he was raised and educated, he was a Quincy High graduate, class of 1937, and lived here all his life. A marine electrician, Paul worked for General Ship in E. Boston and at the Fore River Shipyard and was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge of Quincy. Beloved husband of the late Dorothea C. (Perry) Lucier, Paul was the loving father of William of So. Weymouth, Philip of Quincy, Bernard of Framingham, Dorothea of Delray Beach, FL, Constance Reggiannini of W. Quincy and the late Gerald, Joseph and Paul Lucier; dear brother of Bernard of W. Quincy, John of Rockland and Alice Caobelli of W. Quincy and is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his Friday night poker buddies. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 9 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Wednesday, there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, W. Quincy at 10:00am. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery.
