Bertha A. (Ungemach) MacInnis

Bertha A. “Betty” (Ungemach) MacInnis passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at age 85. Born in Boston where she was raised and educated, she lived in Quincy for over 50 years and was a homemaker.

The beloved wife of Murray “Mike” MacInnis, Betty was the loving mother of Ann Marie Affannato of Rockland and Joseph MacInnis of Florida, dear grandmother of Kerri, Amy, Sarah, Gino, Brandon and Joshua and great grandmother of 7. She was the sister of the late Adele MacInnis and Marie Lowney.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 25 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1017 Sea St. Quincy. Burial will be at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
