Maureen C. (Collins) Maclone

Maureen C. (Collins) Maclone of Jamestown, NC passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at age 91. Born in Dorchester where she was raised and educated, she worked as an executive secretary at Cigna Insurance, lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 20 years and in North Carolina for the past 10 years. The beloved wife of the late Michael Maclone, Maureen was the dear sister of Marjorie Roos and her husband John “Buddy” Roos of Marshfield, and the late Edward, John, Michael, Bernard, Marie and Vincent Collins and Helen Cullinan. She was the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours have been changed to Wednesday, November 30 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial is at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
