Richard James Monti

Richard James Monti of Quincy passed away at Brigham & Women’s Hospital on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at age 74. Born in Quincy, where he was raised and educated, he was a lifelong resident and worked as a darkroom technician for the Patriot Ledger.

Richard was the beloved father of Richard J. Monti, Jr. of Plymouth and Mark Monti of Quincy, dear grandfather of Nicholas and Max Monti and Wendy Happel of Abington and brother of Robert Monti and his wife Carol of Pembroke and Lorraine Megna of Plymouth and the late Barbara Guest of St. Louis.

Visiting hours will be held at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center on Wednesday, March 10 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday there willl be a Funeral Service at the funeral home at 10:00am. Cremation will follow.
