Agnes A. (Wilson) Morin, age 95 of Quincy passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Weymouth HealthCare Center where she was a resident for 4 1/2 years. Born in Arichat, Nova Scotia, she came to MA at age 10. After being widowed, Agnes ran Grammie’s Day Care in Quincy for 25 years, becoming “Grammie” to many. The wife of the late Eugene F. Morin, Agnes was the beloved mother of Jean Foley and her husband George of Weymouth, Robert Morin and his wife Dorothy of Chesterville, ME, Daniel Morin and his wife Mary of Braintree, Donna Sordillo, Richard Morin and his wife Marcie, all of West Palm Beach, FL, and the late Michael Morin; sister of John Wilson of Hanover; and is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 6 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy Point. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
