Cheryl E.. (Bowman) Palermo

Cheryl E. (Bowen) Palermo of Quincy passed away on Friday, August 12, 2011 at age 53. A lifelong Quincy resident, she had worked for Raytheon Micro Engineering for many years. The loving fiancee of Francis “Sonny” Sorgman of Brockton, Cheryl was the loving mother of Nicole S. Palermo, Roger T. Palermo, Jr., both of Quincy, cherished grandmother of Andrew T. Hodgon of Quincy and the late Brendan R. Hodgon; beloved sister of Susan Young of Quincy, Margaret Svizzero of FL and the late John A. Bowen and Charles E. Foster. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 18 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
