Theresa L. (Rossi) Petrella

Theresa L. (Rossi) Petrella, a longtime resident of Quincy, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011. Born in Presenzano, Italy, she was a homemaker and had worked for many years at Remick’s Department Store. The beloved wife of the late Adelmo Petrella, Theresa was the loving mother of Frank Petrella of Hull, MA, Lydia Petrella Hill of Piermont, NH and Diane Petrella of Riverside, RI; dear grandmother of George Hill of Somerville, MA, Theresa Hill of Lebanon, NH and Adam Hill of Piermont, NH; sister of the late Josephine Vaccarini and Domenic Rossi and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Private services were held on Wednesday, November 23 at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy. Burial was at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Donations in Theresa’s memory may be made to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130-0213.
