Richard J. Pizzi

Richard J. “Dick” Pizzi of South Easton, formerly of Quincy, passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on Friday, September 2, 2011 at age 77. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, Dick lived there most of his life, on the North Shore for 12 years and for the past 3 years in South Easton. Before retiring, he had worked as a machine operator for Boston Gear Works in Quincy.

The beloved husband of Elaine L. (Rosette) Pizzi, Dick was the loving father of Richard Pizzi of Easton, Donna Sullivan of So. Easton, David Pizzi of Weymouth, Scott Pizzi and Adam Pizzi, both of Plymouth, Robert Pizzi and Gloria Marini, both of Quincy, Lisa Pizzi of Mansfield, John Pizzi of Hanover and Al Pizzi of Braintree; step-father of Lisa Kelly of Medford, Tracy Allegro of Quincy and Susan DeStefano of Derry, NH. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
