Ryan Mychal Thompson

Ryan Mychal Thompson of Braintree passed away on October 29, 2010 on his 25th birthday. Born in Quincy, he was raised and educated in Braintree. A graduate of Braintree High, Class on 2004, Ryan was a proud member of the So. Shore Seadogs AAU Baseball team, worked as a carpenter and was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 33.

The beloved son of Peter I. and Heather M. (Holmes) Thompson, he was the loving brother of PJ Thompson and Alison Daley, both of Braintree and Joshua Thompson, USN; dear grandson of Linda and the late Cecil Thompson and the late Irene and James Holmes, all of Quincy. Ryan is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 2 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am St. Clare’s Church 1244 Liberty St. Braintree. Burial will be at Blue Hill Cemetery.
