Thomas R. Vitale

Thomas R. Vitale of Randolph passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at age 56. Born in Dorchester where he was raised and educated, he lived in So. Boston for many years and in Randolph for 16 years. He was a storekeeper for the Boston EMS where he worked for 28 years.

The beloved husband of the late Sherry (Richards) Vitale, Tom was the loving father of Malinda Burgos of Stoughton and Stacie Vitale of Randolph; cherished grandfather of Kayla and Edwin Burgos of Stoughton; dear brother of Joseph Vitale and Sandra Mansfield, both of Randolph, Daniel Vitale and Stephen Vitale, both of Dorchester, Margaret Mahoney of Weymouth, Anthony Vitale of Stoneham, Robert Vitale of Hyannis, Maryann Lattanzie of FL, Christine Wallace of Rockland, and Marcia “Ginger” Tatalias of Plymouth and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home at11:00am. Cremation will follow.
