Frances E. (Fruth) Volpe

Frances E. (Fruth) Volpe of Quincy, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at age 90. A homemaker, she was born in Quincy where she was a lifelong resident and enjoyed her summers at Micajah’s Pond in Plymouth. The beloved wife of the late Domenic J. Volpe, she was the loving mother of John Volpe and his wife Cheryl of Grafton and Christine O’Hare and her husband Kevin of Quincy, dear grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 2. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A visiting hour will be held on Wednesday, May 12 starting at 10:00am at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, W. Quincy at 11:30am. Family and friends are invited. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
