Marie V. (Vissa) White

Marie V. (Vissa) White of Quincy passed away at Carney Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2011. A lifelong Quincy resident, she worked for many years at Bernett Research at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and doing puzzles.

The beloved wife of Fred J. White, Marie was the loving mother of Frederick J. White of Quincy, Phyllis Kozlowski and her husband Robert F. of Quincy and Jenifer A. Palumbo and her husband Dominic J. of Carver; loving grandmother of Kylie, Kelsey, Bobby, Matthew, Kaylen, Kara and Shawn; and dear sister of the late Veronica Sabourin of CT and Rudolph Vissa of NH.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 10 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial is private.
