Janice M. Wiedemann

Janice M. Wiedemann of Quincy passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Born in Boston, she moved to Quincy as a teenager and graduated from Quincy High School. A homemaker, her family was her whole life. A longstanding member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, she enjoyed trips to North Conway, NH and cruises with her daughters.

The beloved wife of the late Theodore A. Wiedemann, Janice was the devoted mother of Linda W. Sweeney of FL, Claire M. Murphy of Weymouth, Edward J. Wiedemann of Pembroke, Joan L. Miller of Weymouth, Theodore A. Wiedemann III of Marshfield, James F. Wiedemann of Quincy, and Mary Ellen Whittier of NH, dear grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 2.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 23 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 227 Sea St. Quincy. Burial will be at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
