Russell Earl Wayland

Russell Earl “Russ” Wayland of Randolph passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at age 87. A US Navy Veteran WWII, he lived in Randolph most of his life and worked in construction for various South Shore enterprises. The beloved husband of the late Elizabeth R. “Betty” (McIsaac) Wayland, Russ was the loving father of Richard P. Wayland of TX, Michael J. Wayland of Randolph, Brian J. Wayland of Boston, Lawrence Wayland of Las Vegas, Joanne Wayland of Braintree and the late Russell “Jay” Wayland of Hull; dear grandfather of Heather, Stacy, Mikel, Angela and Danielle; brother of Helen Couzzo of Tewksbury and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 9 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Burial is at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
