Grenneth May ((Smith) Crooks) Durant

Grenneth May (Smith, Crooks) Durant a longtime resident of Quincy, passed  away peacefully at Royal Megansett Nursing & Retirement Home in Falmouth on January 9, 2014 at age 90. Grennie was the beloved mother of William Crooks and his wife Marianne of South Weymouth, Richard Crooks and his wife Elaine of Sandwich, John Crooks and his wife Jean of Hyannis and Carol Buccheri and her husband Mark of Mashpee;  daughter of the late Leona Smith; devoted Nana of Michael Crooks and his wife Judy, Trisha Morley and her husband Dan, John Crooks and his wife Vanessa, Russell Crooks and his wife Erika, Mallory Buccheri and Jamie Buccheri; and is also survived by 11 great grandchildren. Grennie loved Bingo, crosswords and most of all, everything Disney- especially Mickey! She was a long time, dedicated member of Women of theMoose Chapter 2042.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 12 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited.
