Marion (Govoni) Mangherini

Marion (Govoni) Mangherini of Weymouth passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at age 92. Born in South Boston where she was raised and educated, she lived most of her life in Weymouth. The beloved wife of the late Aldo D. Mangherini, Marion was the loving mother of Edna Robie and her husband John of Marshfield and William A. Mangherini and his wife Sandra of Plymouth; dear grandmother of Kirk Barrett of Weymouth, Robert Barrett of Middleboro, Chad Barrett of Weymouth, Adrienne Morin of Beverly, Katelyn Garay of Richmond, VA, Nathaniel Robie of Savannah, GA, Andrew Brown of Marshfield and Elizabeth Bianch of Wetherfield, CT. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 21 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Saturday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 10:00AM. Burial is at Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
