Anne T. (Fitzgerald) Cannon

Anne T. (Fitzgerald) Cannon of West Quincy passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at age 84. A lifelong resident of Quincy, she was a retired secretary for the Quincy school system,  a longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church, a member of  St. Mary’s and St. John’s  Senior Groups and enjoyed traveling, playing cards and was an avid walker. Her favorite times were going out to dinner with her family and  cooking them full course Sunday dinners. The beloved wife of the late Robert T. Cannon, Sr., Anne was the loving mother of Robert T. Cannon, Jr. of Kingston, Kathleen A. Cannon of Marshfield and Patricia M. Cannon of Braintree; dear grandmother of Dianne Marie Cannon Hallock of Walpole and Michael Robert Cannon of Tewksbury and beloved sister of John J. Fitzgerald, Jr of Dedham.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 29 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Burial is at St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
