Anna N. (Swenson) Hoxie

Anna N. (Swenson) Hoxie, a lifelong resident of Quincy, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the age of 100. A homemaker, she graduated from Miss Michaud Secretarial School in Boston and worked as a secretary for Boston Edison from 1933 until she married in 1948. The beloved wife of the late Herbert D. Hoxie, Anna was the loving mother of Robert B. Hoxie of Quincy and is also survived by their dear friends, Mark and Diane Iverson.

Family and friends are invited to a visiting hour on Wednesday, June 4 at 10:00AM immediately followed at 11:00AM by a Funeral Service with Rev. Cliff Brown presiding, at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
