Ruth E. (Hennelly) Giorgi

Ruth E. “Ruthie” [Hennelly]  Giorgi of  Hanover passed away Sunday August 24, 2014 at the age of 68 with her family by her side. Born in Quincy were she was raised and educated she was a graduate of North Quincy High School class of 1963. Ruthie  worked as an  Administrative Assistant for Massachusetts General Hospital for over 20 years. The beloved wife of the late Anthony A. Giorgi , Ruthie was the loving mother of Christian Giorgi and his wife Cara [Howlett] of Norwell, and Ryan Giorgi of Framingham.  She is the sister  of  Patricia Jeria of Delray Beach, FL;  Ronald M. of Hanson and the late Thomas F.Jr and Richard X. of Port Charlotte FL; and Robert of Braintree. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a good friend Mickey Patrolia.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 27 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM, with a service beginning at 6:00PM in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday, August 28 Graveside services will be at 11:00AM,  in Hanover Cemetery, 47 Main Street, Hanover. Family and friends wishing to attend the grave side service may assemble at the funeral home on Thursday  morning at 10:00AM
