Matthew E. Burns

Matthew Edward Burns of Braintree passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at age 46. He lived Quincy where he was born, raised and educated before moving to Braintree 10 years ago.  A construction worker, he was the beloved son of Elizabeth A. (Guest) Burns and the late Edward J. Burns, Matthew was the dear brother of Theresa Burns of Braintree and Bryan O’Sullivan of Kentucky; uncle of Cherry Ann Burns of Braintree and Kelly O’Sullivan and Toni Marie Sullivan of Kentucky.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 2 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. Cremation will follow.
