Francis A. Trubiano of Quincy passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at age 92. Born in Quincy, he was raised and educated and lived most of his life there and lived in Randolph for 18 years. A WWII veteran, US Marine Corps, Francis served in the Pacific Theater with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. He worked as a pipefitter for the Fore River Shipyard and Bethlehem Steel, ran the apprentice program and was a shop steward. He later worked for several years at New England Medical Center. The beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Pica) Trubiano, Francis was the loving father of Francis A. Trubiano, Jr. and his wife Moira of Cotuit, Louis J. Trubiano and his wife Phyllis Doherty of Canton, Ellen A. Donaghey of Plymouth and Linda Silvia and her husband David of Walpole; dear grandfather of Daniel Trubiano, Alicia Trubiano, Stephen Donaghey and his wife Robyn, Laura Trubiano, Michael Trubiano, Amanda Donaghey, Lisa Trubiano, Sara Trubiano, Amy Silvia and Gregory Silvia; beloved brother of the late Arthur, Adam, Robert, Esric, Edward, George, Anthony Trubiano and Helen Amoroso; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 11 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy.
