Walter Joseph Lynn, Jr.

Walter J. “Joe” Lynn, Jr., 58, of Quincy passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 after a long battle with leukemia. A lifelong Quincy resident, Joe was a master electrician for 35 years, licensed in MA & NH and was the foreman at Rivers Electrical in Holbrook. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed snowmobiling, boating and hiking, was a member of several snowmobile clubs, including Baker River Valley, and was also a member of the Gull Point Yacht Club.

The beloved husband of Susan M. (Doyle) Lynn, to whom he was married for 35 years, Joe was the loving father of Thomas J. Lynn of Quincy and his fiancee Angela C. Fernandes, Andrea J. Lynn of Quincy and the late Allison I. Lynn; devoted son of Jean V. (McDonald) Lynn and the late Walter J. Lynn, Sr.;dear brother of Roderick Lynn and his wife Cheryl, Geraldine Lynn, Cynthia Sacchetti and her husband Michael, all of Quincy and Sharon Breen and her husband Peter of Bourne; brother-in-law of Marilyn Ruzzano of Quincy and Steven Doyle of Milton and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 11 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00AM. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Quincy.
