David Neil MacDonald

David N. MacDonald of Braintree passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at age 51. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, he lived most of his life in Quincy and was a sheet metal worker for Local 17. An avid sports fan, he especially loved the Bruins, and enjoyed golf and basketball. The beloved son of Mary C. (Farrell) MacDonald of Quincy and the late Malcolm J. MacDonald, Sr., David was the loving brother of Malcolm J. MacDonald, Jr. and his wife Janet of Quincy, Robert MacDonald and his wife Jean of Braintree and Kenneth MacDonald of Quincy; and loving uncle of Shannon MacDonald and his Godson, Robert MacDonald.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 1 from 4:00 to 6:00PM immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. Cremation will follow. Donations in David’s memory may be given to a charity of your choice.
