Joseph J. Whooley

Joseph J. Whooley of Quincy passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at age 75. A lifelong Quincy resident, he was a Vietnam Veteran US Army and worked at the JFK Library in Boston. Joe was the loving father of Thomas Whooley of Quincy, Susan Goldstein of Lynnfield, Barbara McBee of CO; brother of Thomas Whooley of Quincy, Rita Whooley of Rockland  and the late Margaret Williams; and was the dear grandfather of 7 grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 6 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 10:00AM followed by the burial with Military Honors at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
