Margaret B. Marfiak of Quincy passed away on Sunday October 11, 2015 at age 93. Born in Torrington, CT, she lived in Boston for much of her life and in Quincy in her later years. A graduate of the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing, Margaret worked as a nurse at Marion Manor Nursing Home before retiring. The daughter the late Andrew and Susanna Marfiak, she was the beloved sister of the late Anna McGuinness, Mary Long, Paul and Joseph Marfiak and is survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 16 at 10:00AM at St Patrick’s Manor 863 Central St. Framingham, MA. Family and friends are invited. Burial is at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. | |
