Ellen D. (Flynn) Dwyer

Ellen D. (Flynn) Dwyer of Quincy passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at age 89. She was born in Quincy where she was raised and educated and lived most of her life. Before retiring, she was a case worker for the MA Dept. of Transitional Assistance. Ellen was the loving mother of David Dwyer and his wife Deborah of Pembroke, Shaun Dwyer and his wife Stephanie of Holbrook, Michael Dwyer and his wife Judy of Weymouth, Timothy Dwyer and the late Robert Dwyer and is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Judy Dwyer, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 25 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery.
