Gloria C. (DiLoreto) Kavall

Gloria C. (DiLoreto) Kavell of Quincy passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the age of 90. She lived her entire life in the house in which she was born in Quincy Point. Gloria’s gardens were widely admired, winning the 1979 Crockett Victory Garden Award and the Quincy Neat Neighbor Award 3 times. She managed a Quincy stationery store for many years.

The beloved wife of the late Anthony P. Kavell, Gloria was also predeceased by her brothers, John and Joseph DiLoreto and her sisters, Marian Hutt and Marguerite Cross. She is survived by her nephews, Ronald, Ray and Edison Cross, George Hutt and John DiLoreto and her niece, Marsha Cross.

Services have been held. Donations in Gloria’s memory may be made to the St. Joseph’s St. Vincent de Paul Society 556 Washington St. Quincy , MA 02169.
