Hilda A. Kecati of Quincy passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at age 95. A native of Egypt who spoke 4 languages, she emigrated to the US about 50 years ago and settled in Brookline. On first arriving, she made her living as a talented artist, eventually becoming an investigator for the MA Dept. of Revenue, a job she held for 15 years. In 2007 she moved to 1000 Southern Artery where she made many friends and continued her creativity, painting, sewing and knitting. The wife of the late Michael Kecati, Hilda is survived by her brother Mario Gastaldello of France, her nephews Christian Gastaldello & Charles Gastaldello of London, Patrick, Jean-Luc and Philippe Gastaldello of France and her friends at 1000, including her dearest friend Helga Collins and her family. All are invited to her Funeral Mass which will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, December 21 at St. Joseph Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours are omitted. |
