John Crosby Savage

John Crosby Savage of Quincy passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at age 85. A lifelong Quincy resident, he worked as a receiving clerk for Raytheon where he was employed for 38 years. The beloved husband of the late Elinor M. (Curtin) Savage, John was the loving father of John M. Savage, Local 550, and his wife Arlene of Weymouth, Mary Beth Donnelly and her husband Michael of Brockton and Christopher C. Savage and his wife Laura of Braintree; devoted grandfather of Brittany, Kristyne, Meghan, Nicole, Andrew, Christopher and Matthew and great-grandfather of Christian; brother of Virginia Hawes of Quincy and the late Richard and Paul Savage; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Thursday, February 4 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery.
