Anna M. Carleton

Anna M. Carleton of Quincy passed away on January 16, 2016 at age 89. Raised and educated in South Boston, she was a graduate of Gate of Heaven High School. Before retiring in 1989, she worked as a central office technician for New England Telephone and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Local 2222 Retiree’s Club and a former volunteer at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

The daughter of the late Henry and Mary Carleton, Anna was the sister of the late Mary Keegan of Alabama and cousin of John and Joan Carleton of Quincy.

A Memorial Mass will be said for Anna on Wednesday, February 24 at 9:30AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Her ashes will be buried at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
