Joan M. Laitinen

Joan M. Laitinen of Quincy passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at age 49. A lifelong Quincy resident, she graduated from Quincy High and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College. The beloved daughter of Thomas E. Laitinen, QPD Ret. and Barbara M. (Meade) Laitinen of Quincy, Joan was the beloved sister of Kevin Laitinen and his wife Donna of Kingston, Linda Brundage and her husband Dan of Abington and Nancy McPartlin and her husband Sean of Rockland; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Tuesday, April 12 from 8:30 to 10:30AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 school St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
