Mary A. DeLuzio

Mary A. DeLuzio of Quincy passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at age 93. Born in Worcester where she was raised and educated, she lived in Quincy for more than 40 years. Before her retirement she had worked as a machine operator in the apparel industry. The daughter of the late Francesco and Antoinette DeLuzio, Mary was the loving sister of the late Joseph R. DeLuzio, Lucy J. Lanzilli, Grace J. Repetti, Jeanette LaValle and Elizabeth “Lisa” F. Ferrovia. She is survived by her nieces, Jean Ferrovia of Newton, Lisa Giardina of South Boston, as well as many other nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and her close friend Ruth Sullivan.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, April 20 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Burial is at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
