Edward C. Regan of Quincy passed away at home on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at age 83. Originally from East Boston, he lived in Quincy for 48 years and was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Edward received his business degree from Newbury College and worked as a customer service rep for Pitney Bowes for 34 years. An active member of St. Boniface Church in Quincy, he was an avid boater and lifetime member of the Town River Yacht Club. The loving husband of the late Ann (Connor) Regan, Edward was the beloved father of Kathleen Cafferelli of Weymouth, Edward Regan of Hull, James Regan of Hull, Dan Regan of Quincy and Ellen Schwendenman of Braintree; dear grandfather of Kristin, Patrick, Brian, Amy, Kelly, Jimmy and Jack; great-grandfather of Joshua; brother of the late William Regan and Mary Regan and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, April 27 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Burial with Military Honors is at Pine Hill Cemetery. |
