Eunice G. (Pompeo) Ford

Eunice G. (Pompeo) Ford passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at age 94. A lifelong Quincy resident, she was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church where she belonged to the Ladies’ Sodality  and was a three-time Past Prefect and involved in many other church activities She was also a member and onetime treasurer for the Companions of the Foresters of America and a member of the Legion of Mary at St. Ann’s.

The beloved wife of the late Louis F. Ford, Eunice was the loving mother of Theresa A. Jackson of Quincy and the late Paul F. Ford; mother-in-law of Donald Jackson; dear grandmother of Scott F. Jackson and Craig A. Jackson; beloved sister of Richard Pompeo of Wollaston; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Monday, August 22 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Tuesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery.
