Edward J. McDonald

Edward J. McDonald of Quincy passed away on August 19, 2106 at age 92. The youngest son of Ellen (McGonagle) and Patrick McDonald, he was pre-deceased by his siblings, Cecelia Cook, Patrick J., James, Anna DeVere and Mary MacDonald. He leaves his devoted niece Patsy who was his caregiver for several years, along with several nieces, two nephews and his good friend “Bubba”. Edward was a WWII Army Veteran and a retired employee of Boston Gas Co. A kind and gentle man, Edward’s family was very dear to him. He was the primary caregiver for his beloved parents during their lives. After retiring, he followed “his” Red Sox to Florida each winter and rooted for them each summer. He was loved by all who knew him. Services and interment will be private. Rest in Peace Edward.
